Now as always people will criticize. There are claims made
that Fitzgerald only changed his contract so that he could get a Super Bowl ring, he wanted the Cardinals to be able to pick up more key players and retain Boldin. What's selfish about that? That's like saying donating to the poor is bad because it makes you feel good. Fitzy probably won't really end up with less money in the long run, but he is allowing the organization to pay it off differently, and he is inspiring good faith and teamwork in the other players. Boldin showed up to camp on time, and kept quiet whilst firing his idiotic agent. All things that may not have happened if Fitzy hadn't come forward with his deal.
