The Pittsburgh Steelers made a pair of surprise moves by re-signing safety Ryan Clark and bringing back wide receiver Antwaan Randle El. Clark agreed to a $14 million, four-year contract after the Steelers were unable to sign him before the free agency signing period began Friday. Ravens acquire WR Boldin from Cardinals (AP)
The Baltimore Ravens couldn't pass up the opportunity to add a talented pass catcher to their roster: three-time Pro Bowl standout Anquan Boldin. Cardinals cut S Rolle as expected (AP)

Thursday's move had been expected because the Cardinals wanted to avoid paying him the $4 million roster bonus and $8 million salary he is due. Cardinals extend Whisenhunt, Graves (AP)
The Arizona Cardinals have rewarded coach Ken Whisenhunt for leading the franchise out of pro football oblivion with a new four-year contract that runs through the 2013 season, with a team option for 2014. Cardinals general manager Rod Graves also got a new deal that runs through 2013. Whisenhunt had a year left plus a team option for 2011 on the four-year contract he signed in January 2007. Florida has hired Arizona Cardinals defensive backs coach Teryl Austin as its defensive coordinator. Austin comes to the Gators with 19 years of coaching experience, including 12 at the college level and the past seven as an NFL assistant.
